Cebuana Lhuillier Foundation (CLFI) recently upgraded its educational podcasts by incorporating video in its new episodes this 2023, with the help of Isyoot Multimedia’s production team.
In 2022, CLFI has produced two educational podcasts — “Meet U: Iskolars Tambayan” for students and lifelong learners and Teachers’ Break for ALS (Alternative Learning System) teachers. Both podcasts could be downloaded from Spotify, Google Podcasts, and Apple Podcasts.
As Spotify had started introducing video podcasts for creators last year, CLFI thought it was best to also upgrade to video podcasts, thereby increasing its reach on YouTube and Facebook channels as well.
CLFI is strong in its education advocacy.
“Education is the most potent force for personal and societal transformation. It is not a privilege but a basic human right. CLFI’s inclusive educational thrusts allow the less fortunate and marginalized to achieve quality education through its undergraduate scholarship grants and Alternative Learning System in partnership with the Department of Education,” declared Jonathan Batangan, executive director of CLFI.
The two podcasts are extensions of their advocacy in education by promoting mental health and financial wellness to empower students and teachers.
Meet U podcast opens the year with a special episode on “Success Tools for 2023,” featuring registered psychologist and psychometrician Riyan Portuguez, famously known as “Your Millennial Psychologist” on social media. This show is hosted by Krizel Balasabas, program management officer of CLFI.
For Teachers’ Break, entrepreneur and MENSA Chairman Chris Tan teaches educators financial wellness and how they can be debt-free in 2023. This podcast for ALS teachers is hosted by Dave Mariano, program development officer of CLFI.
Both episodes will be airing in January 2023.
