The mastermind of creativity, the team’s fountainhead. Backed by 3 decades of experience in leading communication and production teams that have bagged multiple awards in their industry. A book author, a music composer and a creative writer. 

She has held several leadership positions in the fields of public relations, integrated communications and TV production over the last 26 years. It was during her leadership when the ABS-CBN Foundation (AFI) bagged the United Nations Grand Award for Excellence in Public Relations in New York, and the Award of Excellence for Public Service Communications in Tokyo. Both awards were bestowed by the prestigious Golden World Awards of the International Public Relations Association

She is the author of “I AM GINA: A Life of Love and Service to the World“, a biography written as a tribute to her mentor and former boss, Gina Lopez.  

Since 2017, Jenie is the Executive-in-Charge of G Diaries, an ecotourism and advocacy-oriented TV program of AFI, and recipient of 25 major awards including the PMPC Star Awards for Television, Catholic Mass Media Awards and Golden Dove Awards.

Another brainchild of Jenie is Kapamilya Konek, a multi-awarded public service program of AFI that was recognized as the Best Magazine Show by the Golden Dove Awards and the Catholic Mass Media Awards.

She was the composer for songs that were interpreted by pop icons Martin Nievera, Sara Geronimo, Mateo Guidicelli, Bamboo, Eric Santos, Yeng Constantino, Jim Paredes, Celeste Legaspi, among others.
